As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with clear communication, document observations, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, labs, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
