As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed, and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor instructions, monitoring deliveries and pickups, and maintaining accurate logs per site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and shift documentation, including observations from patrols, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications for follow-up by appropriate personnel.
