As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident and staff needs with strong communication and customer service. You will document observations, assist with access control, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe activity on the property, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate contacts.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
