As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will drive between assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support store teams and guests with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances and exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire or alarm activations.
- Monitor for and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or hazards that may impact operations, and promptly notify management and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Complete patrol logs and incident reports, support loss prevention and store operations as requested, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.
