As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will enhance the experience for all on site. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while maintaining a visible presence.
Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas as required by site policies.
Complete required documentation and reports regarding incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
