As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams and visitors, and support a people-first environment through integrity, teamwork, and reliable, innovative thinking.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor check-in, and help manage badge and/or credential compliance in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine reports and documentation such as daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or client contacts.
