As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, assist with directions and requests, document observations, and use a computer and/or tablet to communicate updates. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, staff, vendors, and visitors by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, loading and delivery areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, and verify credentials, deliveries, and work orders in accordance with property procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and daily pass-down information, and communicate notable conditions to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
