As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and associates, provide clear directions and assistance, and communicate concerns promptly to site leadership. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report security-related concerns to location management and/or Allied Universal supervision to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or policy violations.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during post and/or shift turnover.
