As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist staff and visitors with a customer-first approach, and communicate observations using basic computer and/or tablet tools. Requirements

• Supervisory experience is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter routes as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, unauthorized persons, and/or property concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and support daily operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or assistance per post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
