As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet riders and staff with outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns in a timely manner. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or public emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, checking identification and/or credentials as required, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client representative.
