As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal assigned to a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interiors and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe for unusual or suspicious activities and report findings to the appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying the identity of individuals as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards for customer service.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
