As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal assigned to a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interiors and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe for unusual or suspicious activities and report findings to the appropriate personnel as directed.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying the identity of individuals as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards for customer service.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
