You will drive and walk routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and care. You will support a positive shopper and tenant experience through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity, reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
Monitor entrances, service corridors, and restricted areas; verify authorized access for vendors and contractors in accordance with post orders and/or property policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, disputes, medical calls, and notifications to property management and/or emergency services as required.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and on-site contacts.
