As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and provide welcoming customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements, while living our agile, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting concerns through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing deliveries to designated receiving locations.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations to onsite management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
