As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will perform routine mobile patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering helpful customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a retail and mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, medical events, and fire and/or alarm activations, and contacting local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter, observing for policy violations and suspicious activity that may help to deter loss and property damage.
Assist store management and team members with access control and crowd management during peak traffic, special events, and store openings and/or closings, while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete detailed reports and logs for incidents, patrol activity, and customer interactions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
