As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a current guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruptions within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related concerns or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel or management.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure environment in a technology-oriented setting.
Maintain awareness of potential security-related issues relevant to a technology and data center environment, including monitoring access points and sensitive areas.
Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to established protocols.
