As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail or mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining open communication with visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Collaborate with property management and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed written reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the location.
