As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will use clear communication and strong customer service to support daily operations, report concerns, and work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of process areas, tank farms, buildings, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions for reporting.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site policy.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant information to incoming officers and site leadership.
