You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support smooth operations across yards, docks, and access points. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, damage, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor and document inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer activity, including observing driver check-in and/or check-out processes and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives, and support access control and key control procedures as assigned.
