As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access to a technology-focused facility by verifying identification and/or access authorization, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, damage, and/or policy violations.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, and/or building systems where assigned, and report abnormal conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, complete detailed reports, and coordinate with site management and/or public responders as needed.
