As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and support access control procedures, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns within the food and beverage production environment.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to the location and report any unusual activity or concerns promptly.
