As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $24.40 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including common areas, parking areas, perimeter, and back-of-house spaces to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and coordinating with on-site management and/or public responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards, and communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, document observations, and pass post instructions to oncoming personnel as needed.
