As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, and complete reports as needed. This is a driving post, so a valid drivers license is required. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances and exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, disruptive behavior, medical situations, and property-related incidents, and coordinate with local responders as needed.
• Control access at designated points by monitoring doors and receiving areas, observing for suspicious behavior, and reporting unauthorized entry and/or policy violations per post orders.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to store management and Allied Universal leadership, and assist with customer and associate inquiries within scope of post orders.
