You will observe activity, document findings, support access points as needed, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer-focused service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
This is primarily a driving post.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to facility employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, unusual conditions, and reports of suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.
Monitor access points, gates, and restricted areas; verify identification and/or work authorization as required by site procedures.
Control visitor and contractor entry by issuing credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to the appropriate location in accordance with site policy.
Perform vehicle patrols and/or foot patrols as assigned, documenting observations and escalating concerns through the established chain of communication.
Observe and report conditions that may impact facility operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, lighting outages, and other irregularities.
Receive and dispatch calls for service using radios, phones, and/or other communication tools; coordinate with site contacts and public responders as directed.
Complete detailed written reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations before the end of shift.
Support site emergency procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and accountability processes as directed by post orders.
