As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support staff and visitors with customer-focused service, document key observations, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and driven by integrity and a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of security experience.
  • Have a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with branch leadership and/or local public resources as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the lobby, offices, ATM areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or appointments when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key observations during post transitions, and support investigations by preserving relevant information when directed.
