Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and/or distribution location.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and delivery activity to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft, and report irregularities according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, production-adjacent areas, and exterior points of entry; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
