As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will support tenants and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and tenants at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, lobbies, parking areas, loading areas and the property perimeter, as directed by post orders.
Perform access control and visitor management as assigned, including monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as required and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
Monitor alarms, cameras and building systems when available, reporting suspicious activity, hazards and/or maintenance concerns through proper channels.
Complete routine patrol reports, incident reports and activity logs in a timely manner, using required systems and following Allied Universal guidelines.
Communicate with property management, tenants, vendors and responding public service personnel during routine operations and incident response.
Support building operations by providing a visible presence and assisting with crowd control during tenant move-ins and move-outs, deliveries and special events as assigned.
