You will stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and unusual activity, and support employees, visitors, and drivers with professional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Having CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a manufacturing location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates, entrances and/or shipping and receiving areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials and directing authorized traffic according to site rules.
• Complete detailed reports and required logs, including incident documentation and shift activity, using written and/or electronic systems per site requirements.
