As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to alarms and service calls with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, office areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with traffic flow for deliveries and outbound shipments, including verifying credentials and/or directing visitors to the proper check-in process per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership per escalation guidelines.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol observations, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate updates through approved documentation systems and radios as required.
