As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, parking lots, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor logs, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated check-in areas according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed written reports and routine documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate security-related concerns promptly through established channels.
