As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and residents with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting. Requirements

Must speak fluent Cantonese.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols at a shelter location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite staff and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with visitor check-in and/or resident sign-in procedures as assigned, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, including observations from patrols, policy violations, and maintenance concerns requiring follow-up.
