As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while you remain visible throughout assigned areas. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
You must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
You must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
You must have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
You must have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
Hospital-specific vaccines are required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols and training.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
Provide support during emergency situations, including assisting with evacuations and/or directing first responders as needed.
Maintain a professional presence and uphold Allied Universal standards while interacting with all individuals on site.
