As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, assist with access control, and document observations while communicating clearly with the team. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor check-in and/or badging in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries and exits as required.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services when needed.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
