As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, assist with access control, and document observations while communicating clearly with the team. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor check-in and/or badging in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries and exits as required.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services when needed.
Prepare clear, timely reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
