As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual behavior or potential security-related concerns within a tech and media-focused environment, reporting observations as required.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the premises.
