As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the tech and media location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
Assist with access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any discrepancies.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support site security-related objectives.
