As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the tech and media location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
  • Assist with access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support site security-related objectives.
