Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will interact with the public, support daily operations, and uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic retail setting. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behaviors.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical situations, as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
