As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for staff and patrons.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Assist with access control and/or crowd management as required by site-specific policies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and support a positive experience for visitors and staff.
