As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as outlined in post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns.
