As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail or mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or potential issues within the location.
Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general inquiries as needed.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity in the location.
Document incidents and complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
