As a Dispatch Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will support on-site teams by monitoring activity, managing access control and badges, and coordinating responses to security-related incidents using computer-based tools. You will communicate clearly with store partners and guests, document events, and help keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Having CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Operate the dispatch function by monitoring radios, phones, and security-related systems, relaying information to on-site personnel, and coordinating responses to routine and critical incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, including tracking officer status, assignments, and key communications.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location, common areas, and perimeter as required by post orders and operational needs.
