As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the site and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Document incidents and complete reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, providing assistance as needed within the logistics and distribution environment.
