As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and manage visitor access to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support site-specific security-related policies.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential risks and identify unusual activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities encountered during shifts.
Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required.
Communicate professionally and clearly with team members, site personnel, and visitors to support a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.
