As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining order at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to support a secure environment. You will also interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary per established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific guidelines and instructions from management.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain an orderly and secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.
