Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access-related inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any unusual conditions.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and communicate with local authorities or site management as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the logistics and distribution environment.
