As a Front Desk Officer at a premier residential location, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access control, answer calls, monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate concerns to the team. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the residential property by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary passes when authorized, and controlling entry through doors, gates, and/or intercom systems.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and notifying property management per post orders.
  • Operate front desk systems and security-related equipment such as CCTV monitors, phones, radios, and/or access control software, and report unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required documentation including incident reports, visitor logs, key and package logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate status updates during shift change.
