As a Screener at a leading tech and telecom location, you will welcome employees and visitors, conduct access screening and package checks, and help maintain smooth entry flow. You will monitor assigned areas, complete routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly to support a professional workplace experience. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen and verify identification, credentials, and visitor appointments, issue temporary badges as directed, and help manage entry and exit through designated access points.
  • Observe and help assess persons, packages, and deliveries for policy compliance, report suspicious activity, and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, lobbies, and the perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
