Requirements

  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the retail location by greeting and screening visitors, issuing visitor credentials, managing deliveries and service vendors, and directing guests to the proper areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct through a visible professional presence.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, visitor logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
