As a Front Desk Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, support sign-in processes, help manage access points, and observe activity at the reception area. You will monitor security-related systems, document incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and guests while helping to deter unwanted activity through a calm, professional presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet and screen visitors, verify identification when required, issue temporary badges as directed, and maintain visitor logs.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, manage access requests, and coordinate with client staff for appointments, deliveries, and contractor check-in and/or check-out.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documentation, and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
  • Observe and report unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptive behavior, and complete detailed shift reports and incident reports.
