As a Front Desk Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting security-related access control, badge verification, visitor processing, and phone and radio communications. You will help maintain accurate logs, report unusual activity, and provide professional customer service while working with site teams. Requirements

• Possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at the front desk.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and coordinating escorts when required.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report unusual activity or policy concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and access control records in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
