As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol various hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence supports a welcoming atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants may be required to receive vaccines as a condition of assignment at hospital sites.
Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue settings.
Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in hospital settings.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activities or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
