As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol various hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence supports a welcoming atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants may be required to receive vaccines as a condition of assignment at hospital sites.
  • Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue settings.
  • Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in hospital settings.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
