As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
Ability to work in hospital morgue settings is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, documenting actions as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious behavior or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions, information, and security-related concerns as appropriate.
Support access control procedures and help to enforce facility policies to maintain order within the location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters and maintain open communication.
